Welcome to the Krewe of Yazoo's official website. Our Krewe is one of approximately 75 which participates in Baton Rouge, Louisiana's Annual Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade. In this site we hope to share with you: who we are; what we do; how we do it; and why.

Our krewe is composed of a wide variety of people who all share at least one common interest... to have good clean fun. The membership is composed of Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Bankers, Accountants, Artists, Students, Housewives, Househusbands, and many other nuts looking for sanity in this insane world.

Once a year we dress in outrageous costumes and parade down the streets of old Baton Rouge pushing a lawn mower. While pushing our mowers we perform synchronized dance-like moves which drives the crowd wild. We're entertainers... we're nuts... we're hams.

We do all of this for ourselves, you, and the sake of art.
